Time to fish!

Well vintage has finished and some people have gone fishing while others are just enjoying not working 6 days a week for 12 hour shifts! Our Grower Liaison man Rod Duffy has spent some well earned time in the Northern Territory (North to the locals) fishing. There is some really good fishing up North and Rod made sure he got his share. He was going out at night before day break and throwing a line in. Rod was rewarded with one Barramundi, measuring 116cm caught at Salt Water Creek and 92cm caught at the mouth of the South Alligator river. That is what I call a fish! Are there any other fisherman catching similar in the waters around the UK? The 2013 vintage was a great one for reds and whites. It is sometimes hard to work with such a glorious sunset, overlooking the tanks as the night shift begins. However we will continue to work hard and make some great wine for our UK friends!
