The next vintage begins to flourish

We are at the “sit and wait” stage in the vineyard, while the vines begin to grow and flourish. The Shiraz is still waiting on veraison but the Chardonnay has started to form. The vines are hearty green and ready for the fruit they will bear in summer.

So far the upcoming vintage is promising to be as good as the last one. It will still take time to nurture the vines and the soil to ensure we get the best out of them for our grapes. We had a moderate winter and the spring is a little shy in coming forward, however we are beginning to see big blue skies that display their panoramic visage.
